Lupeol, is a dietary triterpene found in certain fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants. Lupeol has been shown tohave a broad range of activities, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, antihyperglycemic, antidyslipidemic, antimutagenic, anti-diabetic, anti-asthma, antiprotozoal, antimicrobial, cardioprotective, hepatoprotective, nephroprotective and neuroprotective properties.
