B细胞（也称B淋巴细胞）是一种在适应性免疫反应中起关键作用的白细胞[1]。B细胞可生成高亲和力抗体、生成免疫记忆、充当抗原呈递细胞，并分泌细胞因子（包括CCL22、CCL17、IL-2、IL-4、IL-6、IFN-γ、TNF-α、GM-CSF、IL-10、TGF-β1、IL-35）。记忆B细胞和浆B细胞可生成诸如免疫球蛋白（Ig）IgM、IgG和IgE等抗体。

细胞因子参与B 细胞培养的多个其他方面，包括生长、存活和分化。成熟 B 细胞的一个关键特征是抗体产生和类别转换。在 B 细胞培养中，重组细胞因子有助于驱动这些功能。例如，IL-5 增强 IgA 抗体的产生，而 IL-10 可以刺激各种抗体同种型的产生，包括 IgG 和 IgE。

在实验室环境中培养 B 细胞通常需要在培养基中添加重组细胞因子。
