A screening library of cationic and ionizable cationic lipids for use in LNP formulations; formulated at 25 mg/ml in ethanol; includes FDA-approved excipients, as well as some of the most commonly cited lipids used in nucleic acid-cargo LNPs; contains a wide variety of ionizable cationic lipids, including branched tail, disulfide-containing, multi-tail non-disulfide, polymeric/dendrimer, and unsaturated lipids; LNPs containing these lipids have been used to encapsulate mRNA, plasmid DNA, siRNA, and other nucleic acid cargo for intracellular delivery; some lipids in this library have also been incorporated into LNPs to deliver CRISPR sgRNA and Cas9 mRNA for genome editing in vivo
