番茄凝集素是啮齿动物血管和小胶质细胞的有效标志物。凝集素与荧光团结合有助于使用血管内灌注方法或直接应用于组织切片的快速、一步检测和可视化。

番茄凝集素（番茄凝集素）是一种非常稳定的单亚基糖蛋白，含有约50%的阿拉伯糖和半乳糖，在溶液中可形成多聚体。番茄凝集素虽然与马铃薯凝集素、曼陀罗凝集素和小麦胚芽凝集素具有某些特异性，但已被报道在许多方面有所不同。LEL与糖蛋白和Tamm-Horsfall糖蛋白结合良好，已被广泛应用于啮齿动物血管内皮细胞的标记。
