RFP antibody recognizes the red fluorescent protein (RFP), a fluorophore often used in conjunction with the green fluorescent protein (GFP). Like GFP, RFP allows visualization of fusion proteins in cells and is one of the most frequently used tools to monitor in vivo biological processes. This RFP antibody does not cross-react with the GFP protein.
