PuroMAG™ PCR Product Purification Kit, Magnetic, 384 Preps

The PuroMAG™ PCR Product Purification Kit is designed to provide a simple and easy-to-use method for purification of PCR DNA products (100 bp − 10 kb) from enzymatic reactions using silica-coated magnetic beads. This purification technology is based on nucleic acids binding to silica-coated magnetic beads, which allows for efficient removal of protein, salt, and other contaminants. Silica-based purification provides a faster, simpler, and safer alternative to traditional nucleic acid purification techniques such as phenol-chloroform extraction. The PuroMAG™ buffer formulations produce highly purified DNA product for downstream applications such as sequencing, ligation, transfection, Southern blotting, qPCR, or microarray analysis. This kit can be used with a manual magnetic rack or automated purification systems. The high-throughput protocols have been optimized for Auto-Pure Nucleic Acid Purification systems, but can be adapted for other purification systems (i.e. Kingfisher Flex, Hamilton Microlab STAR, Biomek FX, etc.). The kit can also be used with our PuroMAG™ 8-Position Mini Magnetic Rack (Cat# MGR-008) and PuroMAG™16-Position Mini Magnetic Rack (Cat# MGR-016) for fast and convenient manual purification of PCR product. Features: - Flexible magnetic bead-based protocols (low sample manual purification or high through-put automatic purification) and centrifugation is not required - Efficient removal of dNTPs, primers, enzymes, and salts from PCR reaction mixtures - High quality extracted DNA can be used for a range of downstream applications such as ligation, microarray analyses, qPCR, RT-qPCR, sequencing, Southern blotting, transfection, or transformation
